Started the day looking at a few different vehicles around 11am. We finally wrapped up the process about 9pm.
We tend to keep our vehicles a long time, like say 10 years or more, until they're virtually valueless. So buying a new car is a fairly big ordeal in our family.
Needless to say, we're ecstatic.

Oh yeah, forgot about this Posterous thing. I should send something to it to knock the dust off every once in awhile.
On an only slightly related note, as of this week, I've been sending emails to my children for six weeks now. I read about it on Hacker News: the idea is to write an email to your child (mine are 2 years, and one 2 months) every day. I adapted to something a bit more attainable for myself... to write an email once a week.
I write everything from challenges, to triumphs, to my love for them. It's easiest for our 2 year old, who amazes me every day -- there's always something to tell her about.
It's a bit harder for the 2 month old, but getting easier as he starts to grow and become more interactive.
I write to them with the assumption they'll read the notes when they're 18 or a little older, so I pretty much talk to my children as if they're adults. Kinda weird, like I'm talking to a dear friend who only sorta exists right now.
I hope I can keep it up. And I hope it's all worth reading one day. For my children's sake.

How can fatherhood be so amazingly beautiful, deeply joyful one
moment, and be so hard in a blink? Moments like these make me wonder
if my daughter, who on many occasions has me absolutely wrapped around
her tiniest of fingers, actually has more patience than I --
and uses it against me.
Put her to bed without one of her baby dolls -- that was the final
punishment. Something tells me this won't get easier...

What do I ask? Is it possible to get those deep thoughts from an email
interview? What if they just answer each of my eight questions with
yes/no answers. I suppose there's no way to find out unless I just go
for it.

There might actually be something to this thing.

Just testing this Posterous thing. It sounds like a neat idea. Just
have to get the idea in my head that I am having a conversation with a
web page. Weird but cool!
