Oh yeah, forgot about this Posterous thing. I should send something to it to knock the dust off every once in awhile.
On an only slightly related note, as of this week, I've been sending emails to my children for six weeks now. I read about it on Hacker News: the idea is to write an email to your child (mine are 2 years, and one 2 months) every day. I adapted to something a bit more attainable for myself... to write an email once a week.
I write everything from challenges, to triumphs, to my love for them. It's easiest for our 2 year old, who amazes me every day -- there's always something to tell her about.
It's a bit harder for the 2 month old, but getting easier as he starts to grow and become more interactive.
I write to them with the assumption they'll read the notes when they're 18 or a little older, so I pretty much talk to my children as if they're adults. Kinda weird, like I'm talking to a dear friend who only sorta exists right now.
I hope I can keep it up. And I hope it's all worth reading one day. For my children's sake.
